Payment on a B2B contract:

PLN 20,000 - 32,000 net (approx. $4,500-7,200)

Moving on to the details

In our understanding, Head of HR is a motivated person who likes challenges and likes to work in a fast-paced environment. Has a coaching approach with very good interpersonal skills. To be successful in the role, you must be courageous, open in your communication, yet firm and able to take the initiative.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • building a team of the HR department, whose competences will strengthen, among others, the following duties of you and your department (you will personally deal with only some of them, depending on the current demand and the size of the team)
  • ensuring high quality HR processes in the following areas: recruitment and employer branding, onboarding, employee evaluation, talent management, career path planning, development and training, employee relations, internal communication
  • implementation of tools to improve the work of the department
  • strategic thinking and planning to ensure that the organization will operate efficiently in the short and long term
  • support for high-performance teamwork among team members who report to you, throughout the organization and in teams in which you participate
  • effective management of HR policy and operational processes within not only ICEO, but also the companies we create
  • close cooperation with various types of managers (technological, marketing, operational, founders) and gaining from them the knowledge necessary to understand and support their activities, as well as supporting leaders in achieving the goals of their employees
  • complying with and enforcing the mechanics of functioning at ICEO from employees (internal and external communication, tools, reporting)
  • taking the initiative and being able to argue why specific actions, tools and processes should take place in the company
  • contributing to the development of a culture of diversity and inclusion, where the employee experience is at the heart of the provision of HR services
  • creating a climate of trust and employee engagement that investigates employee satisfaction, concerns or complaints, develops solutions and advises employees
  • creating motivational and team-building programs in cooperation with the EB department
  • cooperation with internal recruiters, external agencies and supporting the recruitment process if necessary, building head-hunting processes at a later stage
  • providing reports on all areas of HR, payroll and employee development
  • applying labor law and providing information about changes in legislation to the board

What we will expect from you:

  • professional experience in a similar position (Head of HR/Recruitment, Recruitment Director, HR Business Partner, etc.)
  • experience in managing and developing an HR team and managing the changes
  • experience in developing and implementing HR initiatives in line with market trends
  • knowledge of tools useful for building the HR department
  • very good knowledge of Jira and Confluence tools (or willingness to acquire this knowledge - we provide internal training)
  • good knowledge and understanding of labor law, monitoring changes in its scope and best HR practices, concepts and processes
  • an innovative approach, taking into account labor law, data protection and compliance when designing and optimizing new features
  • preferably experience in the IT industry and in inter-organizational and cross-functional teams
  • very good knowledge of English in speech and writing (C1)
  • highly developed communication and interpersonal skills

Nice to have:

  • interest in new technologies and solutions based on blockchain technology
  • readiness for hybrid work (visits to the office in Krakow 1-3 times a month)
  • work in entities larger than >= 100 people, corporate experience
  • knowledge of the principles of lean methodology
